Take a weekend for yourself to find balance in body and mind. Sarah and Lucie will take you on a journey balancing Yang (Pingala, Sun) & Yin (Ida, Moon) energies , to guide you back to your natural state of oneness - so you can live your life in balance and aligned with your truth.

Yoga in itself (Hatha means literally Sun & Moon) is a practice that encourages synchronization with the celestial cycles that help the body and mind into alignment with the Sun, the Moon and everything beyond! 

One core belief of Yoga is that everything we see in nature we can also find inside of us. We can find the qualities of the Sun, its fierceness, its strength, its activity within us just as much as the qualities of the moon, its softness, its tenderness, its cyclicity. Very often, through our everyday life and our habits we shift away from our natural state of balance. Yet, as we become more aware of our tendencies, we can re-invite and balance the two polarities to step back into oneness, our true potential and greater spirit.

This retreat program will guide you back to a deeper awareness for your natural tendencies and support you to attune the qualities of the sun and the moon within you and create more balance within your body, mind & heart.

No matter if you are new to yoga or already a long time practitioner - this retreat will give you a great chance to dive into all aspects of yoga and bring this knowledge into your everyday life.

About the retreat home

The Guesthouse at an old rustic estate outside of Berlin, on the edge of the beautiful Uckermark, is perfect for those who enjoy a nature-oriented, down-to-earth, community-oriented lifestyle and are interested in sustainability, and community living. Ponderosa offers lots of space to be creative, to connect back with nature and to find the beauty in the gifts of life.

The surroundings are perfect for long walks through the Lower Oder Valley National Park or refreshing dips in the nearby river.

About the team

The retreat is led and guided by Sarah & Lucie from Yoga on the Move. The two will guide you step by step into the practices independently of your level of experience.

 

Sarah is trained as a certified 600h yoga teacher, professional dancer (contemporary) and movement pedagogue. Her intention is to expand human consciousness into an evolutionary state of being to find their true essence. Her offerings and creations are based on a holistic approach to serve the body, heart and mind. Her spaces are designed to allow each body to open to its full expression. It is important to her that you feel seen, held and supported in your individual journey. In her offerings you will find creativity, relaxation, awareness and mindfulness, while honoring each participant's energetic level to allow them to arrive fully in the present. Sarah teaches from a blend of inspirations gathered from her own inner journey such as: somatic movement, dance, breathwork, meditation, sattva kundalini kriyas, vinyasa, yin, sound vibrations, contact improvisation, chanting and voice activation. She is doing her best to always teach from a place of love and respect for the teachings she has experienced on her own journey.

Lucie’s approach to yoga is based on inclusivity, spirituality and self-inquiry. As a certified yoga teacher (Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative), Breathwork Facilitator, & Sound Player, Lucie is passionate about holding spaces and sharing her energy, leading groups with powerful tools such as breathwork, meditation, sound journeys, movements and spiritual inquiry. She designs holistic experiences and creative sequences, mixing various elements of Anatomy, Yoga Philosophy & Traditional Chinese Medicine. She believes that body and mind are closely related, so expect a full activation of your entire vessel, both on the physical, mental and emotional levels. Her intention is to provide a safe environment encouraging self-expression and exploration, and to raise loving awareness. She wishes to help her students find presence on the mat, so they can eventually infuse this state of being in their daily lives.

About the transport

Transportation is not included in the retreat price.

The location can be easily reached by public transport from Berlin Hbf.

Arrival & Departure

We will connect those, who are interested, with each other to share rides or train tickets.
