What does yoga mean to you?
* Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self - to. the self". Bhagavad Gita
Essentially, what yoga means to me is coming back to the self, falling in love with yourself, again and again. The good, the bad, the light, the darkness.
It is a remembrance of our state of naturalness: whole and complete, nothing to be fixed, nothing to be changed, perfectly imperfect
What is the focus in your classes?
* A subtle amount of physical, energetical and spiritual practices. I invite my students to tap into a state of greater presence and awareness.
How? By observing the breath. By listening to the feedback that our body's giving us, moment by moment. By creating space in between our thoughts. Pushing a little more, while playing our edge. Practicing for the love of practicing
What is your favourite Asana/yoga exercise?
* Ardha Chandrasana — Half-moon pose, which requires balance, strength, focus and a spark of playfulness. It represents pretty well my relationship to my (asana) yoga practice
What makes you happy?
* A morning dip in the ocean, catching the sunset on time, sharing my passion and love for yoga, being with my loved ones, eating fresh fruits from the trees :)
