Full Moon Yoga & Ceremony under the Stars

To all moon childs and night owls, 

lets celebrate the moon's energy under the stars!

The full moon has a special, vitalizing effect on the human body. It is the best time to reflect, renew and let go.

For this next outdoor ceremony of this summer season Yoga on the Move and Sonido Sur are joining forces to create a magical experience for all your senses. Felipe from Sonido Sur is experienced in working with Reiki and Andean native ceremonies, Andean music and storytelling. With our Full Moon ceremony we offer Vinyasa Yoga, a guided meditation, mind/body exercises for guiding our intuitive spirit, live music and a cotton ritual to cleanse our spirit.

ACCORDING TO THE WISDOM OF OUR ELDERS 

The full moon is a moment to let go. It gives us the power to recognise things as they are to be determined about letting go. Is a moment for acceptance and it offers us a clear tuning into our intuition.  Ceremonies are memorable celebrations. This Full Moon ceremony is to understand the effects of the moon cycle in our human and nature cycles. Cycles of creation and cycles of evaluation. The moon ceremonies are for our ancient traditional families and still for us today, a way to connect to our nature and to the universal spirit of everything that is alive.  

A philosophy of nature has been kept safe by native communities in their way of living. Far from books and deeply written in our universal bodies, this philosophy is what they understand as the Law of Origin.

Just as native communities, we are also native and we should care for keeping this philosophy alive and spreading their ancient wisdom across boarders.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Please bring warm clothes, a blanket or sleeping bag for our Shavasana and your yoga mat. Don't forget to take your crystals or any other personal objects with you to recharge with the full moon light.

Full moon is the peak of creation. It is known in the ancient science from the indigenous of South America as a change of light and energies. Recognizing our soul and our energy in full Moon is recognizing our instinct. Observing it and letting go of the excess of energy and confusing dual mind is part of our process. With this ceremony we want to celebrate this special cosmic event and reconnect to ancient wisdom that lies within our self and memories of the timeless universal consciousness we belong to. 

Leonie is a 500h+ certified yoga teacher and co-founder of Yoga on the Move. She loves to hold a sacred space to reconnect body and mind. Her dynamic yoga flows are designed to treat the body in a loving and gentle way. Even though Leonie loves to be on the move and create new projects, she has realized that grounding and true connection are the real pleasures in life. Both aspects are shared through her classes and events.

Anna is a 500h+ certified yoga teacher at Yoga on the Move. Her classes are dynamic, incorporating both strength and release. Her biggest focus is on the breath, working on steadying and deepening it to slow the mind, turn inward, and to be completely present in your experience.
