Full Moon Ceremony - Lunar Yoga & Ritual

To all moon lovers and children of the stars,

Freddi is inviting you to a special online ceremony dedicated to the full moon in March. It is the perfect time to connect with our emotional and sensual being, to reflect, renew and let go.

The full moon this month is rising in Libra, which might bring a strong need for balance and harmony. It’s a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of something begun at the New Moon. Heightened emotions, romance, fertilization, relationship drama, and epiphanies may be themes.

In our ceremony we will bring balance back into our bodies and minds with a stabilizing Yang to Yin Yoga practice. 

A class in which we transition from more active and dynamic flows, that invite space and a sense of lightness into the body, to a deep relaxing Yin sequence. After a soothing practice Freddi will guide us through a Full Moon ritual to release what no longer serves us and to unlock stored energies from within. 

LOCATION

The event is taking place online in a shared online space via the streaming service Zoom. After registering, you will receive the link for the live stream.

We stream live from our Yoga Studio with professional equipment in high quality.

Create a little altar for the night of the event at home. Get cozy. Light candles & incense. Place your crystals or any other personal objects at home to recharge with the full moon energy.

Invite a friend to share this ceremony with from home.

Get your good sound system out or your best headphones set for the sound will be played live with special vibrations for the Yin Yoga.

Candle, piece of paper and pen, comfortable clothing, cushion, blanket, yoga mat or carpet.

ABOUT THE FULL MOON IN LIBRA

The Full Moon occurs on Sunday, March 28th, when the Sun in Aries forms an opposition to the Libra Moon.

The Aries-Libra polarity is a relationship axis, where Aries represents “self,” and Libra represents “other.” Where Aries is about self-assertion, Libra is about compromise. With the Libra Moon, we’re especially aware of our need for relationships and all that comes with maintaining them — compromising, negotiating, graciousness, and balancing. The Aries Sun, on the other hand, is self-assertive, leading, and personally courageous.

This Full Moon urges us to strike a balance between meeting our personal needs and attending to the needs of a significant other, and between independence or autonomy and dependence or companionability. The Libra Moon is diplomatic, equality-focused, and fair-minded. The Aries Sun values authenticity over tact and is energized by independent efforts. The Full Moon illuminates this conflict.
